Governance

Governance Overview

The International School of Tucson operates as a non-profit organization, and as such, it is overseen by a Board of Trustees. International School of Tucson’s dedicated Board of Trustees is focused on steering governance and formulating wise, sustainable long-term strategies. To achieve this objective, the board actively engages with both the school’s parent community and the broader community it serves. The board is actively in pursuit of outstanding leadership to establish an exemplary international school model. Furthermore, it is committed to embracing diversity within its membership, encompassing factors such as gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, language, financial resources, and diverse viewpoints. The board seeks individuals with varied backgrounds, skills, and resources to foster an environment that encourages creativity and innovation. All board members share a common, paramount goal: the education of children for participation in a global community.
