This week, please help welcome Bill Davidson to the International School of Tucson as the new Director of Advancement. He is excited to be a member of the team and is looking forward to working with each of you.

Bill comes to us from the UA where he served as Marketing and Communications Director. He joined the UA in 2000 and oversaw all marketing efforts. This includes serving as the main contact for all media such as campus publications, social media, and the Tucson local news, as well as building a brand image both on campus and in the community.

Bill spent several years with The University of Arizona’s Admissions Department, the UA’s External Relations Department, the Transportation Department, and the College of Architecture. He also has experience as a non-profit Marketing Director with the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center, the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, and Junior Achievement USA.

Bill is a seasoned nonprofit professional, specializing in impactful, mission-driven work in Development and Marketing. Bill has worked with a dynamic and diverse section of Tucson’s nonprofit sector as well as the National sector, citing his deep passion for his local community, especially advocating for youth. Bill knows firsthand the invaluable resources provided by the nonprofit sector and utilizes this experience to better connect on a deeper level with his donors as well as community partners and leaders, specifically through the art of metric-informed storytelling.

Bill is involved with many community activities in Tucson. Bill also spends time with his family, wife Andrea and two daughters (all UA alumni and school educators). Bill is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio in Business Administration and Marketing.

Bill is very enthusiastic about learning about his new position and continues to educate himself on the various aspects of your school. One of his first objectives is to meet with you to gain an understanding of the school’s goals. Bill can be reached at davidson@istucson.org.

Please join me in a warm welcome!
